Israel Kills Top Palestinian Militant as Gaza Truce Talks Stumble
Deadly Strike in Lebanon
Israel killed a senior militant from Fatah's armed wing Wednesday in a strike on Lebanon. The Israeli military claimed the militant was responsible for planning and carrying out attacks against Israel from Lebanon.
The strike comes as truce talks between Israel and Hamas, the Islamist group that controls Gaza, have stalled.

Lebanons health ministry said early Wednesday that Israeli strikes in the countrys east killed at least one person and wounded 19.
Accusations from Fatah
The Fatah movement accused Israel of trying to sabotage the truce talks by killing the militant.
