ICC T20 World Cup 2022: England Thrash India in Semi-Final
England Dominate With Bat and Ball
In a thrilling semi-final encounter at the Adelaide Oval, England outplayed India to secure a place in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The English openers, Alex Hales and Jos Buttler, put on a blistering display of power-hitting, scoring 86 and 80 runs respectively, to guide England to a formidable total of 170 without losing a wicket.
India Struggle in Response
In response, India struggled to keep up with the required run rate. Despite a valiant effort from Hardik Pandya, who scored 64 runs, India fell short by 10 runs, finishing their innings at 168 for 8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami picked up two wickets each, but England's bowlers kept India's batsmen in check throughout the innings.
England will now face the winner of the second semi-final between New Zealand and Pakistan in the final on November 13th at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
